Mr Liassides and Ms Sfouri participate in Goethe’s ‘Cultural Management Academy’ in Thessaloniki

Mr Chris Liassides, Senior Lecturer and Director of Postgraduate Studies and Ms Violetta Sfouri, Senior Lecturer at our Business Administration and Economics Department participated as invited speakers in the ‘Cultural Management Academy’ organised by Goethe Institut in Thessaloniki, 26-30 June 2017.

Mr Liassides suggested types of communication that make campaigns for the promotion of cultural projects effective and discussed ways to make the campaign messages stronger. In her presentation, Ms Sfouri talked about the necessary procedures that need to be followed towards an innovative approach in the creation of cultural content. Both presentations were particularly successful, attracted participants’ attention and generated interesting discussions.

The well-attended Academy aims at engaging participants from both public and independent sector in an experience that will develop their capacity of understanding the context for cultural strategies, offer skills to work with public documents on cultural policies, and strengthen relations between the independent sector and the public one.
