Dr Kalyva at the AIESEC’s Youth Today Conference

On the 20^th and 21^st of  November, at the Museum of Byzantine Culture,  Dr Frosso Kalyva is going to present to the Youth Today Conference which is organised by AIESEC. Dr Kalyva is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Psychology Department of CITY College, the University of Sheffield International Faculty.

Dr Kalyva’s presentation is titled “Promoting the participation of young people in the decision making”. The speech explains what is decision making and how young people and even children can contribute to this procedure. The key message is “if we want to make the world a better place first we have to improve ourselves”.  The seminar is going to be interactive, giving the opportunity to participants who are young students, to participate in certain practices, initiating their motivation to become even more active in the society.

Youth Today is organised for the first time in Thessaloniki and its main aims are to connect the youth with the business, with their strengths and dreams and with their actions which can have a positive impact both in their lives and within the society.

CITY College is a platinum partner of AIESEC and has it’s own specialized AIESEC unit.
