Professor Panayiotis H. KETIKIDIS is the Vice President for Research & Innovation of CITY College, University of York Europe Campus and Chairperson of the South East European Research Centre (SEERC)

Prof Ketikidis has over 30 years of experience in management, education, innovation, research, and competitive research funding with various networks established as a result of this experience. He is invited regularly as Keynote speaker in several national and international business and academic conferences.

Prof. Ketikidis is a Board member in several profit and non-profit professional associations supporting and mobilizing the knowledge triangle (research, business and education) to facilitate innovation.

Executive Committee Board Member of EBAN - The European Trade Association for Business Angels, Seed Funds and Early Stage Market Players, (2018-present) President and Co-founder of HeBAN - Hellenic Business Angels Network (5 years); Member of the Board of the Innovation Zone of  Thessaloniki [(AZK) 2013-present]; He is  the President and founder of the Triple Helix Association Chapter of Greece (2013-present); Member of the Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee – Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce (5 years); Emeritus Member of the Management Board - Exporters’ Association of Greece  (14 years) - currently, Chairman of the Digital Transformation Committee and Expert Evaluator for the European Innovation Council (EIC).

Prof. Ketikidis is the Chief Editor of the International Journal of Innovation & Regional Development (IJIRD), Associate Editor of the International Journal of Logistics Economics and Globalisation and European Editor of the International Journal of Enterprise Network Management. I am also on the Editorial Board of several international journals. I have also served on the Board of scientific /international/ programme committee of many national and international conferences worldwide.

 

Research Interests

Innovation and Technology, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Innovation and Regional Development, Health Informatics. ICT Policy and Research Strategy.

Professor Ketikidis research interests cross technological innovation, supply chain, health informatics, innovation and regional development, and science disciplines in an effort to understand today’s and future complex supply chain problems. He has over seventy publications in the forms of journal papers, books, edited books, edited proceedings, edited special issues, book chapters, conference papers, technical papers and reports. He is Chief Editor of the International Journal of Innovation & Regional Development (IJIRD) , Associate Editor of the International Journal of Logistics Economics and Globalisation (IJLEG) , Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Operational Research (IJOR) , European Editor of the International Journal of Enterprise Network Management (IJENM) , and a member of organizing and scientific committees in various national /international conferences and workshops.
