Coeus Collaborative Funds
for psychology staff and research fellows in Sheffield and Thessaloniki

In Greek mythology Coeus was the one of the Titans, giants sons and daughters of Uranus (representing Heaven) and Gaia (representing Earth).  They preceded the Olympian gods as divine beings who reigned over the cosmos until they were overthrown by Zeus and the Olympians and imprisoned in Tartarus.

Coeus represented rational intelligence and together with his sister Phoebe who represented prophetic wisdom they functioned together as the primal font for all knowledge in the cosmos.

The Coeus Collaborative Fund is designed to promote research collaboration between psychology staff and graduate students in Sheffield and Thessaloniki. It creates a range of opportunities for building networks based on existing research interests, disseminating the findings of research and initiating new collaborative research ideas.

More information on Coeus Collaborative Fund can be found here.

Deadline for applications is Wednesday 31st May.
