Mr. Bratanis and Mr. Kourtesis met while working together as PhD researchers at our research centre, SEERC, on cloud computing and intelligent information management, and started working on the development of an ecommerce video discovery platform in late 2013. In less than a year from incorporating the company, the startup’s team released a first version of its platform and launched a private beta programme that already includes major retailers and brands from across the world. Plans for 2015 include launching the service in public beta and focusing on sales growth.

It should be noted that among other awards, Goodvidio got the 2nd place at the Startup Weekend in Sheffield, in November of 2013.

We wish to warmly congratulate our student on this exemplary achievement and wish them success in their future endeavour.
