A successful MBA Open Class on Leadership by Dr Dimitriadis in Bucharest

Dr Nikolaos Dimitriadis, Development Director of the Executive Development Institute (EDI) of the International Faculty, CITY College, successfully delivered an MBA Open Class on Leadership in Bucharest on 3 May 2017 at the Hilton Hotel.

Entitled 'Leadership and the Brain: How to lead, motivate and inspire your employees's brains' the event drew a full house attracting businessmen, professionals and entrepreneurs from different industries.

In his lively presentation Dr Dimitriadis discussed managers’ traditional approach to employees with regards to rewards, bonuses, job promotions and ‘punishment’ designed to achieve multilevel goals. Dr Dimitriadis and suggested that these approaches should be revised. “There is strong scientific evidence that this approach is, not just irrelevant, but dangerous because it does not accept humans as they are: emotional, irrational and primarily focused on their survival” said Dr Dimitriadis and continued his presentation suggesting ways in which leader may inspire their employees.

Participants were impressed by Dr Dimitriadis’ presentation which they found particularly useful.
