Career Day 2018 – An extraordinary event for extraordinary candidates

Another Career Day took place successfully at the International Faculty CITY College, with more than 100 bachelors and masters students and many alumni participating and showcasing their extraordinary self. Themed ‘Be the most extraordinary version of yourself’, the event was organised by the Career, Employability and Enterprise Centre of the International Faculty and was an ideal opportunity for networking, bringing together students and alumni company representatives and recruiters – at a local, from a variety of industry sectors.

More than 40 companies participated this year at the event, interviewed students and graduates for full time and internship positions, collected CVs for future openings, while at the same time helped them gain insight into the variety of career paths and market trends. Company representatives were left with best impressions and gave particularly positive feedback on our students’ professionalism and level of their knowledge and readiness for the job market.

The Annual Career Day is a tradition at the International Faculty aiming at enhancing students’ employability skills and connection to the job market and also at bringing the industry closer to academia for a fruitful and mutually beneficial relationship and exchange. The Career Day comes in line with our Faculty’s strategic goals and mission for extroversion and connection with the industry.

Our Career Day is the jump-start for many of our graduates who now enjoy a successful career in Greece, Europe and all over the world!
