Seminar Overview
At times when we are manifesting changes at exponential rates it is a paradox that the way we manage has not significantly changed in the past decades. Companies are positioned very often in hypercompetitive markets that resemble red oceans and strive to develop competitive advantage through marketing and operational innovation. This competitive advantage is often short-lived and not sustainable. Management innovation introduces a new approach to managing that is very divergent from our existing management approaches. It capitalizes on employee empowerment to a level that is unprecedented and involves radical decentralization. It results to lower costs, greater initiative, and higher employee loyalty. When compared to other types of innovation it contributes significantly to the development of sustainable competitive advantage.
In this seminar participants will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of what management innovation is, how it works and what are the issues faced by companies that are implementing it.
