A successful football tournament at CITY College

CITY College, University of York Europe Campus and its Students Union (CSU) organised a very successful Football Tournament which was held at the YMCA football court, 23 November – 9 December 2022.

‘The Illyrians’ were crowned winners after beating 5-4 ‘The Bulls’ in the thrilling final match. Five teams participated in the tournament in total. Medals and awards were presented by the President of the CSU. Mr. Ahmed El Fawal and the Director of Student Affairs Department, Ms Theofano Kyriakou.

We would like to thank all students who were present and supported the teams as well as the Student Services Department and the CSU. Special thanks also goes to the volunteer referees who ensured the best conditions for quality matches.
