My clinical career started on a training basis in 2004 when I was included in the psychological team of Psychiatric Hospital of Stavroupoli, Thessaloniki, Greece. During that training period I was introduced in the use of psychometric tests, the conduct of clinical interview, family therapy and the design of psychological reports. Also, I worked as an assistant psychology in the field of drug prevention, participating in awareness and drug prevention programs in different target groups, such as parents, the army and students. Moreover, I worked in the area of the reintegration of former users of psychiatric services and the support of their families. After my expertise in the field of applied forensic psychology in the United Kingdom, gaining respective experience in forensic settings, I have been devoted in the therapy of abuse survivors. More specifically, I have been working in the field of women's abuse for three years, cooperating with victims of abuse and now offering support to victims of human trafficking. Also, since 2010 I offer my services in private practice, working with adults, adolescents, children and couples in terms of counseling, therapy and legal procedures, following a holistic approach using tools from cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis and systemic theory. In addition, I have been trained in Maastricht Interview for Voice Hearers and support alternative ways of treatment for people in mental distress. Finally, I am a forensic expert witness involved in the legal and court procedures of various cases.
