Potizo, a environmental web app made by our Computer Science Students in collaboration with the Municipality of Thessaloniki

We're proud to introduce 'PotiZo,' a groundbreaking digital application developed by our Computer Science Department in collaboration with the Municipality of Thessaloniki. This app allows citizens to adopt and care for up to three trees in the city, fostering a sense of community engagement and environmental stewardship.

Neuroscience at CITY College

Do you know about our Neuroscience Research Center (NEUREC) and Neuroscience labs?

Located at CITY College in Thessaloniki, Greece, NEUREC is a multidisciplinary hub tackling pressing societal challenges. Our Neuroscience Lab boasts cutting-edge brain imaging and stimulation technology. Join us in exploring the mysteries of the human mind!

NEUREC currently has two fully equipped labs operating at our main campus in Thessaloniki: the Neuroscience Lab and the Applied Neuroscience Lab.

The Neuroscience Lab is among the few neuroscience labs in Northern Greece, and it is equipped with state-of-the art high-density brain imaging technology (electroencephalograph, EEG); and brain stimulation and training technology, Neurofeedback, which is a used as a therapeutic tool in clinical neurophysiology to treat brain and mental health.

The Applied Neuroscience Lab is the newest lab of NEUREC equipped with three state-of-the-art neuro headset to measure brain electrical activity and with one of the best eye-tracking systems in the field. This lab can be accessed by staff and students at CITY College who want to conduct basic research and applied studies in neuroscience-related fields such as Neuromarketing, Neurolinguistic and Neuropsychology.
